Executive speaker coaching that starts with the audience shift

Message Architecture & Speaker Readiness for High-Stakes Rooms

Dan Brophy works with CEOs, founders, senior leaders and high-calibre speakers preparing for rooms where the message needs to land with clarity, authority and purpose.

Dan Brophy

A message can be clear — and still not land.

Most leaders do not struggle with what to say.

They struggle to shape it for the audience, the context and the moment.

Communication does not happen in isolation, it happens in a room, with a specific audience, at a specific moment — with a desired outcome.

That is where the work begins.

Through Message Architecture, Dan helps leaders clarify the shift the audience needs to make, then build the story, structure, framing and delivery that help the message land.

What Is Message Architecture?

Designing communication for the room it needs to move.

Message Architecture is the process of shaping communication around the outcome it needs to create.

It asks:

Where is the audience now — and where do they need to be by the end?

Once that shift is clear, the message can be designed with purpose.

The work focuses on:

  • audience and context

  • message structure

  • story and framing

  • proof and clarity

  • delivery and presence

  • practical audience takeaway

The goal is not simply to sound more polished.

The goal is to make the message more useful, memorable and effective for the room in front of you.

Speaker Readiness

For the rooms where the message needs to hold.

Dan works with professional speakers and leaders preparing for:

  • keynotes and major conferences

  • boardrooms and investor conversations

  • client pitches and commercial presentations

  • panels, firesides and media appearances

  • stakeholder meetings

  • leadership transitions

  • internal and external presentations

This is not generic technique-based presentation coaching. It is focused preparation for high-stakes communication moments where the message needs to be clear, useful and built for the actual room.

Ways of Working - Coaching

High-Stakes 1:1

Private speaker readiness for CEOs, founders and senior leaders preparing for keynotes, boardrooms, media, panels, firesides, investor conversations and major leadership moments.

The work focuses on shaping the message, story, structure and delivery around the audience, context and outcome of the room.

Leadership & Commercial Teams

Structured support for teams who need to communicate ideas with greater clarity, confidence and commercial impact.

This is particularly useful for leadership, sales, advisory and client-facing teams who need to make complex expertise easier to understand, trust and act on.

Authority Architecture

A deeper positioning process for leaders ready to clarify their point of view, sharpen their message and build a consistent voice across the room, the stage and their public platforms.

At a certain level, communication is not just about a single presentation.

It becomes part of a leader’s authority.

Members of the Ponant team had an opportunity to work with Dan to refine and enhance their messaging and presenting skills. The coaching sprint opened my mind to how I could have a greater impact on the audience I was presenting to. I use the tips I learned every time that I prepare a public speaking address.
